The Grand Scheme of Things [09.01.12]

I initially thought to crop out the skyline, but then I realized that its minuteness beneath the big, blue sky lends some sense of… scale, perhaps? As the cliche goes, the world is a very big place, and we are but small specks in the grand scheme of things.

We were glad to see some sunlight this morning, but relief was short-lived when the rain started pouring again at around midday. And it’s still raining this evening.

This building was obscured by thick fog - or a low cloud - late this afternoon.
